Group Marketing Manager Intuit Partner Platform

That situation is available as Intuit is working to quickly build out the team that will lead Intuit’s Platform-As-a-Service (PaaS) strategy.
We are currently looking for a dynamic leader to drive user adoption of our third party and internal SaaS applications. These applications are built upon the Intuit partner platform and leverage Intuit customer data. You will be responsible for driving massive amounts of users to discover and adopt these applications.
Through a combination of vast internal channels tapping into 25 million employees of QuickBooks products and external channels of your creative choosing, you will be leading a team focused on aggregating users to our platform, creating the right messages and environment for adoption, and facilitating cross-sell of additional apps solving important business problems.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
• Owning overall “User” strategy for the Intuit Partner Platform
• Leading a team to deliver a quota of users adopting Intuit & 3rd party applications through a variety of channels including, internal Intuit channels (in-product discovery, direct response, web-properties), SEO, partnerships, , etc.
• Managing user-related financials (aka the budget) and making trade-offs balancing for all three stakeholders (customers, employees and shareholders) and the long and short term
• Building capabilities of own team and facilitating partnerships with cross-functional teams to define and deliver on strategies. This includes working with east/west coast "centers of excellence" and other functional teams within the business unit.
• Providing marketing leadership and influencing the business unit and functional group senior management on long-term business strategy
• Owning Customer facing web properties
• Overseeing research efforts, including NetPromoter surveys, market segmentation, market sizing efforts, customer analytics, etc.
This position can be located in either Mountain View, CA or Waltham, MA
Qualifications:
• 7+ years Marketing experience, with a recent emphasis on managing a team of marketers.
• Comfortable and confident with technology, especially new marketing technologies.
• Experience managing a web-properties – preferably a web marketplace
• Experience in on-line cross-sell (i.e. Amazon recommendations) is bonus
• Track record of employee development, coaching & performance mgmt.
• Leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions and garner respect from other team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work internally, across developer, quality assurance, documentation and customer support teams.
• Experience in marketing Web-based software preferred (or ideally marketing a web marketplace), especially in startup/entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience evaluating competitive landscape, market trends, customer insights and marketing/sales data.
• Demonstrated proactive approach to tackling problems.
• Entrepreneurial/start-up experience preferred.
